After having constructed a piece of furniture in SmartWOP, you might want to print out a view of your design in order to show it to your customers for example.

SmartWOP will always print the very basic dimensions of your design in the “Common View” printing template.

The first page will exclusively show the outer dimensions, like below.

You can also hide the doors, if applicable. Just tick the box below Common View.

Page 2 will show outer and inner dimensions.

To display these custom measurements you’ll need to navigate to Dimensioning in your Home tab.

You will also find the function Measure there, this will temporarily show a distance that you measure. The process is the same, however this will disappear once you click again.

To add dimensions, click on Dimensioning. The mouse cursor will change to an arrow and a ruler. If you now click on two points within your workspace the measurement will be displayed.

Measurements that are added in this way will be printed on both sides of the common view print. Alternatively you can also select Default View, this will print the view you currently have of your design.

To prevent SmartWOP from printing these distances, make sure you have disabled the Dimensioning function (blue highlight = active, no highlight = disabled)

Enjoy construction with SmartWOP!
