SmartWOP has a built in function that makes construction even easier.
It allows you to save parameters like the connectors used, names of each element, materials and edges and then automatically apply this to any of your designs.
To set up your assistant start by finishing your design. Make sure to have each element named and all the connectors and materials you want.
Now go to the Assistant Tab.
In the upper left corner, you can find an icon with a plus in it. Click there to create a new assistant.
After you have named your assistant, click on the Learn Icon. The assistant will now save the parameters of your design.
The letters behind the name stand for (B) Machining (N) Names (K) Edges (X) Export Tuning; when they are surrounded by an orange frame, they are active and will be saved and applied. If you don’t want the Assistant to save any of these categories, simply click on its corresponding letter. The frame will go black to indicate that it is inactive.
To see or edit the exact parameters that the assistant is saving, click on the submenus. A double click on any of the values allows you to change it.
To use the assistant you can either activate it right away when starting a new project.
Or you can use the “Apply” button to assign your parameters to an already existing design.
Create a variety of assistants for different uses.
